    We have the honor to acquaint you with the unique Pensioner’s Show Theater "Citizens of Sofia". This is a unique theater, not only by its format but because it entirely consists of retired disabled people. The theater has a rich artistic career and this year marks the fifth year of its establishment. Its first performance was on 6/12/2012, under the motto “THE BULGARIAN PENSIONERS GREET EUROPE”. PST’s anniversary concert "Citizens of Sofia", which will be held on 06.16.2012, will be under the motto: "In the European Year of the people from the third age, PST “Citizens of Sofia "- Courage, Spirit and Example of a Complete Life.”
Pensioner’s Show Theater "Citizens of Sofia" was established with a noble purpose: To satisfy the need of emotional and public expression of the people, who have been for long out of the active, working life and who are eager to fulfill their artistic dreams from the youth. Although many of them have a "bouquet" of various diagnoses, embittering their lives, on entrance into the theatre, they become new people. For a short time, with a lot of perseverance and enthusiasm diverse concert material was developed and the results were not late. Now it's difficult to count the number of theater and individual awards of the performers. And these are all major festivals. From town level festivals to international festivals, everywhere we get the first prize! But the most beloved shows are for different kinds of celebrations. Celebrations of various holidays and events, simply gatherings of pensioner clubs and associations or live appearance on the Bulgarian National Television, which made and showed two films about the activities of PST and one artistic portraits of the Chief Artistic Director of Pensioner’s Show Theater "Citizens of Sofia", Annie Momchilova. The Theatre travels and makes the connection with other pensioner’s associations, making them part of the cause for active public life and resistance to the injustices and problems, affecting one of the most vulnerable groups of people – the disabled pensioners.
BULGARIAN PENSIONERS EXIST AND THEY LIVE A COMPLETE PUBLIC LIFE, THEY SERVE AS A MODEL for the desperate, as well as for the younger generation!
